Kidney Cancer is often a silent type of cancer, by the time the patient has symptoms it's often too late. What medical errors can lead to lung cancer?

Steven E. North

Often lung cancer is not symptomatic. That is, the patient doesn't show any signs or symptoms, often until it is too late. The chronic cough, the coughing of blood, and other symptoms. But screening x-rays often are and should be done. It's a standard of care in some instances, typically depending on the age of the person, the history of the person, the smoking history of the person, the family history of the person. And if the clinician, the doctor, doesn't do those screening x-rays, or if they're done, and the x-ray is overlooked, and there is a lesion there, then that will be the basis for a lawsuit. I'm Steven North. I specialize in medical malpractice litigation. My office is located in a townhouse in the upper east side of Manhattan. We welcome your call.

What medical errors can lead to pancreatic cancer?

Steven E. North

Pancreatic cancer in some instances can lead to lawsuits. In some instances the type of cancer is such that there really is nothing that can be done for it. In those instances, where the cancer is located in the particular portion of the pancreas, it is subject to what is known as a whipple procedure, a procedure where the pancreas is surgically addressed and the cancer is erraticated. And the timing of the diagnosis is critical in those instances. And if the doctor doesn't recognize the symptoms that the patient is having and act upon them, that often can lead to a lawsuit. I'm Steven North. I specialize in medical malpractice litigation. My office is located in a townhouse in the upper eastside of Manhattan. We welcome your call.

What is cancer misdiagnosis?

Steven E. North

Diagnoses is the failure of a treating physician ordinarily, to appreciate either the signs and symptoms of a condition that are indicative of cancer. Bowel cancer, for example, may be manifest by a change in stool patterns, blood in the stool and so forth. Lung cancer may be evidence by spitting up blood. Any of these circumstances have to be appreciated by the clinician and acted upon promptly. If they don't and if there is cancer and if that cancer metastasizes, that becomes a very serious matter. I'm Steven North I specialize in medical malpractice litigation. My office is located in a townhouse in the upper eastside Manhattan. We welcome your call.

What medical errors can lead to prostate cancer?

Steven E. North

Prostate Cancer is a peculiar type of cancer, in that there are standard tests that are done. Screening tests to see whether there is an additional cancer. The PSA test, is the usual test there's a Pre-PSA test also done and there's a whole level of 4.0's the cut off point when caution needs to be exerted by the physician. And I've seen cases where the prostate has gone, the PSA has gone as high as 18 and the doctors for some reason just over look it and they don't see it. The report gets in the doctor's file. The patient is never contacted, and then when symptoms really start developing, it's too late. I'm Steven North. I specialize in medical malpractice litigation. My office is located in a town house, in the upper east side of Manhattan. We welcome your call.

What should I do first after a motorcycle accident in New York?

Proner & Proner

The first thing you want to do after a motorcycle accident in New York, or anywhere in the United States, is do a quick body check. From your toes to the top of your head, "Do I feel anything? Is anything bothering me? Is anything tingling? Is anything hurting? Am I in pain anywhere?" And if you feel any symptoms, you want somebody to contact an ambulance and go to a hospital and get yourself checked out. Even though you might be concerned about the cost of that ambulance ride and the cost of that hospital visit, it's more important to get your health taken care than to worry about what happens to your bike afterwards. Then, immediately after that, if you sustained injuries, contact an attorney so that attorney can get to work on safeguarding any evidence and doing what they can to make sure that you get as much money as possible as quickly as possible. I'm Mitchell Proner. If you are looking for an experienced, skilled attorney to represent you or a loved one in New York, contact me today.
