What are the potential impacts of a child's exposure to lead?

How common are injuries from children's toys?

In 2006 there were approximately 220,000 child injuries as a result of defective products that are sold in this country. They range from defective toys that present strangulation, or choking hazards to defective bicycles, ATVs, scooters, child seats, playpens just about anything you can imagine your child comes in contact with. What happens is these corporations that make these products put profit before safety. They don't care about our children. Why do you advocate for children who've been injured?

Are injures to children from toxic toys common?
